Big Bakes

Adam is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and Co-Founder of The Big Bakes. Before launching the business, he held senior corporate roles at British Airways and International Airlines Group, one of the world’s largest airline consortiums, where he served as Head of Marketing and Communications. The idea for The Big Bakes came after an office bake-off with colleague Eloise Frank, which quickly grew into something much bigger.

Adam now leads the company’s commercial, marketing and operational functions. His work has earned recognition from PR Week and The Marketing Society, and he was named Start-Up and Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The success of The Big Bakes has been anything but accidental. For two years, Adam and Eloise balanced demanding full-time corporate careers while building the business on the side. In 2017, they made the leap into entrepreneurship full-time. What started with The Big London Bake South, where they built the baking tent themselves with help from friends, has grown into a multi-award-winning live baking experience with venues across London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.

Adam’s entrepreneurial journey has also come with plenty of personal milestones. Just one month before opening The Big Liverpool Bake in October 2025, he welcomed his first child into the world, balancing the pressures of a new venue launch with becoming a new dad. Through hard work, creative PR stunts, strong press coverage and a successful city launch, Liverpool has quickly become another thriving addition to The Big Bakes brand.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys travelling, playing tennis, gaming, video production, exploring new technology, spending time with family and trying out immersive experiences wherever he can find them.

His story is only just beginning, with a mission to bring the joy of baking to more people across the UK and beyond.
