Alice Driscoll is the Co-Founder of The Power House, Co-Author of the best-selling book Smart Conflict: How to Have Hard Conversations at Work, and, alongside Louise van Haarst one of the UK's leading voices on conflict competence, leadership and workplace communication.

Together they help organisations build cultures where people have high-stakes performance-driving conversations without blowing things up, or avoiding them altogether. Their work enables leaders and teams to tackle conflict earlier, give better feedback, make faster decisions and build greater trust, creating healthier, higher-performing organisations.

More than 30,000 leaders and their teams have been trained in their Smart Conflict® Methodology, in organisations including PwC, Google, BBC Studios, HSBC, Liontrust and Puig, as well as hundreds of founders and teams from high-growth businesses. Whether speaking to executive teams, scaling start-ups or global organisations, they are known for combining practical tools with humour, challenge and an ability to make difficult conversations feel surprisingly achievable.

In 2026, Alice and Louise were recognised on the Thinkers50 Radar, an annual list highlighting the top 30 global emerging thinkers whose ideas are shaping the future of management thinking, and are 2026 finalists in the Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Their book is also a finalist at the 2026 Business Book Awards.

Before founding The Power House, Alice held senior leadership roles in creative agencies, advising global brands including Vodafone and Unilever, and is an exited partner from health technology business KareInn.

Alice holds qualifications in executive coaching, systemic team coaching, mediation and behavioural change from Henley Business School, Regent's University London and the British Psychoanalytic Foundation.

She lives in south-east London with her husband and their two children, where she continues to test the limits of her own conflict competence in the most demanding environment of all: family life.
