Occasio Insights

Camilla designs systems that help us understand and improve the world we build.

For over a decade, her work has sat at the intersection of urban strategy, digital innovation, and human-centred design—driven by the conviction that high-quality social, economic, and ecological outcomes require high-quality evidence.

A Danish-British strategist with a Master in Architecture, Camilla founded Occasio Insights in 2024 to safeguard human intelligence in the AI era. Occasio is the world’s first knowledge management platform built specifically for high-value, qualitative insights, helping organisations capture and amplify the "words that matter" so original ideas retain their credibility in an increasingly noisy digital world.

Previously, Camilla served as Research Lead at Hassell, Design Lead at Arup Digital Studio, and Urban Designer at Gehl. A recognised thought leader, she chaired the New London Architecture (NLA) Built Environment Technology panel for over four years, advised the Mayor of London on high-street recovery, and contributes to the IEEE’s AI Systems for Human Flourishing.

Camilla has authored white papers on 15-minute cities and the future of work, led research engaging 100+ global experts, and facilitated workshops from New York to Beijing. She regularly guest lectures at renowned universities and speaks internationally on urban innovation and knowledge ecosystems.
