Danielle Wallington
flockhere
Danielle Wallington is a community builder, mentor and tech founder who has spent almost 20 years creating experiences that bring people together through events, communities and, more recently, technology. She is the founder of flockhere, often described as the "ClassPass for coworking", and is on a mission to shape the future of work through connection, micro-communities and belonging.
Today, she's building flockhere around a simple belief: the future of work isn't just about where we work, it's about how we connect. As more people work remotely, Danielle believes local micro-communities will play a vital role in reducing isolation, supporting wellbeing and helping people find their people.
Alongside her work at flockhere, Danielle mentors early-stage founders on bootstrapping, community-led growth and crowdfunding. After raising over £21,000 in just 30 days to launch flockhere, she now helps other founders plan and deliver successful crowdfunding campaigns, using storytelling and community to turn supporters into customers, advocates and investors.
After her request for flexible working was denied while on maternity leave, Danielle decided to build the kind of working life she'd been told wasn't possible. That experience still shapes everything she does today—from helping women find better ways to work through flockhere to mentoring founders to build sustainable businesses on their own terms, not someone else's version of success.
For Danielle, community isn't a marketing buzzword—it's the thread running throughout her career. From a decade in the events industry to the last eight years building businesses and communities, she's passionate about creating genuine relationships, opportunities and lasting impact.
Whether she's moderating conversations, mentoring founders or speaking on stage, Danielle shares practical, honest insights on bootstrapping, storytelling, community-led growth, crowdfunding and the realities of building a business while raising a family—all while challenging hustle culture and championing the idea that the best businesses are built on your own terms.
