Eleanor Bowmer is an artist, designer and entrepreneur who has transformed her love of bold colour and joyful illustration into one of the UK’s most distinctive home and lifestyle brands.

She founded Eleanor Bowmer Ltd in 2015 with little business experience, using money from her final wage to buy a scanner and borrowing enough to purchase the computer she needed to turn her artwork into products. What began with Eleanor creating and selling her own prints has since grown into a thriving female-founded business, known for its vibrant, hand-illustrated homeware, gifts, stationery and accessories.

Created from Eleanor’s Manchester studio, her unmistakable designs are built around colour, creativity and positivity. The brand has expanded through major retail partnerships and collaborations, including Next, Chilly’s and Micro Scooters, bringing Eleanor’s work into homes across the UK and beyond.

As both the creative force and founder behind the business, Eleanor understands the reality of turning an idea into a commercially successful brand, from developing a recognisable identity and growing a loyal community to scaling products, partnerships and a team without losing the personality that made the business special.
