Emma King is a founder, business coach and co-founder of It Takes Two and The Engine Room.

After more than 25 years in business, Emma knows exactly what it feels like to be the founder with all the ideas, all the decisions and far too much of the business still sitting in your own head.

Her biggest breakthrough came when she stopped trying to be the answer to everything and built a strong partnership with her second-in-command, Julie Phillips. That shift allowed Emma to step away from the day-to-day running of CHS Events while the business continued to grow and perform without every decision coming back through her.

Today, Emma helps founders do the same: create the clarity, accountability and autonomy their teams need to turn ideas into action.
