Fenella Boyle

Fenella Boyle helps founders prepare for and achieve optimal exits. She was as the co-founder and CEO of Versed AI, an artificial intelligence startup which spun out of the University of Cambride. She successfully orchestrated a competitive sale of Versed AI, securing five Letters of Intent - without the help of bankers. After a few bumps in the road when Versed AI's acquirer was itself acquired, the deal closed in July 2024.

Following the acquisition, Fenella spent a year working for the acquirer, Exiger, which is backed by Carlyle and Insight Partners. She experienced working at a fast growing scale-up, where she learned all the things she should have been doing better in enterprise sales at Versed AI!

Before her entrepreneurial journey, Fenella had a sixteen-year career as an investor, including at UBS Asset Management. She holds a masters from Oxford, an MBA from London Business School and is CFA-qualified. Fenella lives just outside Cambridge with her two children & five chickens.
