Trigger Conversations

Georgie Nightingall is the founder of Trigger Conversations, a London-based organisation on a mission to make the world more human through the lost art of meaningful conversation. Bored and frustrated with the question ‘what do you do’, Georgie founded Trigger to find a formula for engineering more meaningful conversations in our everyday lives. Trigger’s event spaces and global transformational conversations training programmes are designed to invite participants to strip their work labels, go beyond small talk and be real - reclaiming conversation as an opportunity for adventure, play and discovery. She draws on over a decade of relational practice including circling, dance, embodied consciousness, improvisation theatre, IFS and coaching. Georgie’s ideas have featured in a TEDx talk, on Channel 4, and in outlets including The Times, The Telegraph, and Entrepreneur.com, and appear in Joe Keohane’s book The Power of Strangers. Alongside her practice, Georgie is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London, researching how to design environments that cultivate high-quality interactions, drawing on psychology, linguistics, behavioural science, and experience design to understand what reliably grows connection, trust, and collaboration.
