Helen O’Donnell

Helen O’Donnell is VP, Content and Creators at BBC Studios Digital Brands, where she leads the digital development, creator and publishing teams. Previously, Helen was the founder and Director of Development at BBC Studios TalentWorks, with a track record of creating and launching award-winning content with emerging and established creators. She also led BBC Creator Lab for BBC Public Service and has spearheaded collaborations with platforms including TikTok, YouTube and Meta.

Helen was the inaugural Chair of the BBC Studios Next Generation Board, established to explore how the BBC can evolve for the next generation of audiences.
Alongside her work at BBC Studios, Helen brings more than 15 years’ experience as a producer and performer across the cultural and creative industries in the UK and internationally. She is a Trustee of VAULT Creative Arts. She has been part of the production team at Machynlleth Comedy Festival since its launch and co-founded critically acclaimed company Do Not Adjust Your Stage, bringing together science, arts education and live theatre.
