Ian Dibb is the founder of Wayfinder Advisory, where he works alongside early-stage founders on strategic growth, fundraising and founder support.

He has experienced both sides of the founder journey. He raised investment, scaled a startup and closed one. Those experiences shape how he works today: practical, honest and always on the founder's side.

Alongside Wayfinder, Ian is the co-founder of The Cornish Diamond Co., an ethical jewellery brand reimagining the engagement experience. He also serves as a Strategic Advisor to Man Down, one of the UK's leading men's peer support organisations, helping more than 7,000 men each year through its network of support groups.

In 2026, Wayfinder Advisory won the South West StartUp for Good award at the UK StartUp Awards and will represent the region at the national finals during Ideas Fest. In his session, Ian shares what building, losing and rebuilding taught him, and why resilience, purpose and strong relationships remain a founder's greatest competitive advantage.
