Jacqueline Gilbert
ParrotPal
Jacqueline Gilbert is a Cambridge-based entrepreneur, strategist and innovator with a track record spanning consulting, corporate leadership and company building across two continents.
She co-founded Beaudurof in 2015, building a patented convertible bag system from the bath-tub of a one-bedroom apartment into a brand discovered by Condé Nast, named on Vogue's global It-Bag Index, and featured as the landing image of their work bag editorial. The company holds a broad European mechanism patent with no direct competitor equivalent across 18 EU states and is now in exit discussions with a global entity.
She co-founded ParrotPal, an AI-powered muscle health platform that reached one million users and £2M in revenue within twelve months of launch, built in collaboration with Cambridge's MRC Epidemiology Unit and recognised by the UK Government with the Innovate UK AI for Health Resilience Award. Her interest in health is not academic. She built ParrotPal with her co-founder Scott Flear in part because she needed it, losing 40kg and sustaining it through years of serious health challenges that no existing product was designed to address.
Before founding, Jacqueline was a senior leader in management consulting, where she led work across M&A, transformation and strategy for some of the world's largest organisations, including a NZD927m acquisition analysis that informed Haier's purchase of Fisher and Paykel. She later served as Chief Strategy Officer of UK conglomerate, Marshall Group. She holds a Cambridge MBA and lectures regularly at Cambridge Business School (2017-2026).
She was celebrated as part of the Queen's 95th birthday celebrations in recognition of engineering excellence, and attended the Queen's funeral in September 2022 as a representative for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Outside work she is a two-time Ironman finisher, six-time ultra marathon runner, English Channel swimmer, and former international sporting representative.
