James Tindall

James Tindall is an entrepreneur, advisor and former Olympian who works with founders, CEOs and leadership teams to help ambitious businesses scale.

Having founded and run a recruitment business himself, James understands first-hand the realities of building a company, leading people and navigating the challenges that come with growth. Today, through JD&Co, he advises founder-led and high-growth businesses at key inflection points, from building leadership teams and bringing in senior operators, to shaping fractional support, strengthening boards and preparing businesses for their next stage.

Before business, James was a successful Olympian, an experience that shaped his approach to performance, resilience, team dynamics and the pursuit of ambitious goals.

He is particularly interested in what happens as businesses scale: how founders evolve, when experienced leadership needs to come in, and how to build the right structure without losing the entrepreneurial energy that made the business successful in the first place.
