Jo Dalton

JD&Co

Jo Dalton is a serial founder, investor and board advisor helping ambitious founders and brands start, scale, raise and exit, while building businesses, wealth and lives that are designed to last.

For nearly two decades, Jo has worked with founders at the moments that shape what comes next: starting up, raising capital, hiring leadership, building boards, scaling internationally, preparing for exit, or working out how to build without burnout.

She owns JD & Co and JD Ventures, which together reflect how she works with founders across advisory, capital, boards and growth.

JD & Co is a founder advisory and executive search firm working with ambitious consumer, health, wellness, longevity, lifestyle and high-growth brands. Through JD & Co, Jo has helped place over a thousand leaders into boards and leadership teams, advising founders, CEOs and investors on the people, board and leadership structures that support scale.

JD Ventures is Jo's investment platform, backing businesses she believes can shape the future. The portfolio includes SIGN, the preloved designer resale platform, and Medeau, a health-optimised fragrance brand.

Jo also invests personally as an angel, with investments in scaling brands including Heights, WONE and Monk, alongside a wider portfolio across sustainability, circular economy, health, wellness and conscious consumer. She is a founding member of Alma Angels, a movement working to generate $1 trillion in women-led wealth by 2050.

Her value is pattern recognition. She has seen the hires that transform a business, the boards that unlock confidence, the funding rounds that change the pressure overnight, and the advisory conversations that help founders see what matters next.

Jo regularly speaks, hosts and judges across the founder and investor ecosystem, including Alma Angels, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Ideas Fest, the National Startup Awards, the Health Optimisation Summit, The Ivy Club, Brewin Dolphin and Fairmont Windsor Park. She uses these rooms to recycle wisdom back into the ecosystem and create more honest conversations about leadership, boards, fundraising, longevity, exits, female ambition and the realities of scaling.

Her work sits at the intersection of business, leadership, capital and longevity, driven by a belief that founders, businesses and capital all have to evolve together.
