Julie Phillips is an experienced COO, coach and co-founder of It Takes Two and The Engine Room — a community built specifically for the people who sit in the middle of founder-led businesses.

For more than 15 years, Julie has been the second-in-command alongside founder Emma King, turning ideas into action, leading teams, creating accountability and building the operational capability that allowed Emma to step away from the day-to-day.

She knows the reality of the role: the founder has the vision, the team needs direction, and somehow you’re expected to make it all happen.

Today, Julie helps COOs, Operations Directors, Heads of Ops and other second-in-commands develop the confidence, skills and influence to become truly effective strategic partners.
