Julie Phillips is the co-founder of It Takes Two, an experienced COO and operations specialist who has worked alongside Emma King for more than 15 years.

Where visionary founders see possibilities, Julie specialises in turning those ideas into clear systems, efficient processes and practical execution. As Emma's second-in-command, she played a central role in building the operational structure that allowed Emma to step away from the day-to-day running of the business and eventually relocate abroad.

Julie's expertise lies in creating accountability, improving how teams work together and helping businesses become less dependent on their founders.

Through It Takes Two, she now works with business owners and their second-in-commands to strengthen the relationship between vision and execution, helping teams reduce pressure, improve performance and create more sustainable growth.

Her approach is grounded in years of hands-on experience navigating the realities, frustrations and opportunities that come with running and scaling a business.
