Karen is an Inclusive Innovation Communities Senior Partner at Innovate UK Business Connect. Her role focuses on helping to build a more inclusive innovation ecosystem across the UK by working with communities, partners, businesses and innovators to ensure talented people can access the opportunities, networks, funding and support they need to turn great ideas into real-world impact.

A key part of Karen's work involves helping to remove barriers that can prevent people from participating in innovation, particularly those from groups that have traditionally been underrepresented. She is passionate about ensuring innovation reflects the diversity of the UK, recognising that when different perspectives are included, we create better solutions, stronger businesses and greater impact for society.
