Kate Bell is a founder and entrepreneur who builds things that don't exist to solve real problems. Her instinct has always been to break the mould and find better ways of doing things, first through a career in marketing, then by inventing and bringing her own product, Zip Us In, to market. She has spent years supporting startup founders and now runs KBI Group, the company behind both The Theta Clinic and her latest venture, Noeva.

Noeva is an AI learning companion for children aged 6 to 18. Kate came to it not as an educator but as a mother, watching her teenage daughter being prepared for a world that no longer exists. It helps young people build the thinking, judgement and self-knowledge that no curriculum sets out to teach, and does so without ever positioning itself against the classroom. Her guiding line runs through everything she builds: use AI to think better, not to think for you.

She loves the thrill of doing things differently, and her work asks a harder question than most are willing to sit with: what are we actually raising the next generation to do?
