Kelly M. Whitfield is a serial entrepreneur with twenty years’ experience building businesses in the
North East. She founded and scaled two professional services companies organically, with her own
capital and without external investment, before returning to build KLIK SaaS® - a licensed, white-label
platform that lets organisations own, manage and monetise their professional communities.

A Visiting SME Fellow at the world-leading Durham University Business School and former Regional
Director of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, Kelly has been named to the BusinessCloud
Northern Leaders list two years running and recognised on the Northern Power Women Future List in
2024. She is a regular speaker, panellist at regional business and investment forums and speaks on community
ownership, female entrepreneurship, personal resilience and building a technology business from the
ground up. Kelly is married, with three sons.
