Llŷr Roberts is Chief Executive of Mentera, one of Wales’ leading economic development organisations, where he leads a team of more than 170 colleagues delivering programmes that help businesses, entrepreneurs and communities grow, adapt and thrive. With a strong focus on enterprise, innovation and resilience, Llŷr is passionate about creating the conditions that enable people and organisations to realise their potential and drive sustainable economic growth.
Before joining Mentera, Llŷr founded and led a consultancy specialising in strategy, evaluation and organisational development, supporting organisations across the public, private and third sectors to turn insight into action and maximise impact.

Alongside his executive role, Llŷr serves as a Non-Executive Director, bringing expertise in governance, leadership and organisational transformation. He is a regular speaker on topics including business growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, economic development and building resilient organisations in a rapidly changing world.
