Penny grew up surrounded by hardworking, entrepreneurial characters, so she has always understood the energy, ambition and occasional chaos that comes with building something of your own.
Her career in people began almost by accident when a Saturday job at Boots introduced her to what was then called “personnel”. She went on to build her career within some of the UK’s largest organisations, including the UK’s largest defence manufacturer, before founding her own business in 2015.
Today, Penny works alongside founders and growing businesses, helping them get the very best from their people. With a strong commercial perspective, she looks at the whole people picture – from founders and leadership teams to managers, teams and the HR foundations underneath them – joining the dots between people and business.
