#14 in The Sunday Times 100, Ravi Agravat is the Founder of Berkfield, a £10m+ technology-led retail business transforming how bulky, difficult large home and lifestyle products are sold online.

From a £500 Prince’s Trust “Will It Work” grant and no formal business education, Ravi has built Berkfield into a national ecommerce platform processing over 145,000 customer orders annually and working across major UK retail channels including B&Q, Tesco, Debenhams, Argos and The Range.

Berkfield has grown by taking a different path to traditional retail. Rather than relying on heavy warehousing, stockholding and expanding headcount, the business uses automation, supplier integration and data-led systems to scale efficiently while remaining lean.

In 2026, the business was also recognised for Innovation of the Year by the East Midlands Chamber and won the HSBC Regional Service Excellence Award, reflecting its focus on both operational innovation and customer experience.
