In 2014, Richard founded Secret Source, a tech company with one goal: to make people happy. Employees, customers, everyone who came through the door. He believed that if everyone was happy, business success would naturally follow.

It was harder than he thought.

For the next ten years, Richard studied the science of workplace happiness and its effect on team and company performance, applying everything he learned to his own team. From designing L&D programmes to experimenting with which breakfast foods sparked the most conversation, no experiment was too small.

In 2025, Richard sold Secret Source. He now works with leaders and organisations, showing them how to build teams that perform better and stay together longer. By making them happier.
