Sara Boltman is an experienced entrepreneur, angel investor and passionate advocate for innovation in Wales. As the founder of a successful employee-owned business, she brings first-hand experience of building, scaling and leading high-growth companies.

Sara is a Lead Angel with Women Angels of Wales, where she is committed to increasing access to investment for ambitious founders and supporting the growth of innovative businesses across Wales. She has a particular interest in technology, life sciences and businesses with the potential to deliver meaningful impact.

In 2026, Sara received the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) Women in Innovation Award, recognising her leadership in the investment into MeOmics Precision Medicine and her contribution to championing innovation and early-stage investment in the UK.

Drawing on both entrepreneurial and investment experience, Sara is a strong advocate for building a more diverse investment ecosystem and encouraging more women to become angel investors.
