Sarah Williams Gardner OBE

Sarah Williams-Gardener OBE is a British business leader, fintech advocate, and non-executive director, recognised for her contributions to financial services and charitable work.

Sarah has built a career spanning banking, technology, policy, and strategic leadership. She is a founding member of Starling Bank and spent 17 years at IBM, where she served as UK Government Affairs Director. She has also held roles such as CEO of Opportunity Now (gender equality campaign), Chair of Business in the Community, and interim CEO of Hope for Children. Sarah Williams-Gardener OBE is a multifaceted leader with a track record of driving fintech innovation, supporting regional economies, and championing charitable causes across the UK.
