Flow Brew

Simon Bateman is the founder of Flow Brew, a wellness company on a mission to help ambitious people thrive in a world that never switches off. Combining functional mushrooms, nervous system education and meditation practices, Flow Brew challenges the modern belief that peak performance comes from doing more. Instead, Simon believes sustainable success starts with learning how to regulate the body before optimising the mind.

With more than 20 years of experience building businesses in the fitness, health and wellbeing sector, Simon has founded multiple ventures, completed an MBA and advised organisations on growth, marketing and customer experience. His career has always centred on one question: how can we help people perform at their best without sacrificing their health?

His mission became deeply personal after experiencing severe burnout, anxiety and depression. That journey forced him to question the culture of constant productivity and led him to explore the science of stress, recovery, breathwork, meditation, functional mushrooms and the nervous system. What began as a search for his own health became the foundation for Flow Brew.

Today, Simon speaks about why so many high performers are unknowingly operating in a chronically dysregulated state, why traditional productivity advice often fails, and why the future of performance lies in regulation rather than stimulation. His approach combines neuroscience, behavioural science, practical wellbeing strategies and founder experience to translate complex health concepts into simple actions that busy professionals can apply immediately.

Simon is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, leaders and teams build resilience, improve focus, reduce stress and create healthier ways of working. Through Flow Brew, he is building more than a wellness brand, he is leading a movement that encourages people to slow down, reconnect with themselves and discover that calm is not the opposite of ambition, but the foundation of it.

His talks leave audiences with a fresh perspective on performance, practical tools they can use immediately and a compelling challenge to rethink what it truly means to succeed in today’s always-on world.
