The ‘Mother of Nails’ Thea Green revolutionised the UK nail industry (now worth an estimated US$370 million) when she launched Nails.INC in 1999 – she was 23 years old at the time.

Travelling to the US for work as a fashion editor for Tatler Thea noticed the speedy efficient nails bars of NYC that didn’t exist in the UK, but even in the States nobody was doing it with a fashionable high-quality nail product, there was no brand leader. She was inspired to launch both a nail product and a service in the UK and Nails.INC was born – from a nail bar on South Molton Street, London, she has transformed the market and built Nails.INC into a global, award-winning business.

Last year it was announced that she has sold the business to LA based, Pacific World Corporation with the aim to accelerate growth in the US.
