Tim Armoo
Timothy (Timo) Armoo specialises in building and scaling businesses. Arriving in London from Ghana aged 10, he started his first venture at 14, earning £500. By 17, he built and sold a second business for £110,000. These early experiences, including a notable dismissal for outsourcing his first job at 16, laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial journey.
At 21, Timo founded Fanbytes, quickly achieving £400,000 in revenue during its first year. Despite initial investor scepticism, Fanbytes thrived, eventually securing the UK Government as a client. Following a challenging period during Covid, he successfully raised further investment, expanded his team to 80 people, and ultimately sold Fanbytes in a multi-figure exit at 27.
Now 30, he owns a private equity firm generating £47 million annually. His insights into business growth and resilience were further shared in his Sunday Times Bestseller.
