Yvonne Buluma-Samba is the Founder and CEO of LocaeRise, an award-winning education start-up on a mission to rebuild "the village" around schools. Inspired by the Kenyan philosophy of Harambe, pulling together for the common good, she has spent the past several years bootstrapping a business that brings together schools, experts, universities and sponsors to create lasting change. A former Business and Economics teacher, Yvonne now speaks about purpose-led entrepreneurship, building high-performing teams through community, and growing a movement before you have the resources of a large organisation.
