Through the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and the UK StartUp Awards, we had spent years connecting founders, celebrating their wins, sharing their struggles, and building genuine relationships across the UK's entrepreneurial community. Ideas Fest grew naturally from that same mission.

When Covid brought events to a standstill, the appetite for connection only intensified. That led us to a simple but powerful question. What if we could take that same entrepreneurial energy outdoors and create a space where conversations, creativity, and collaboration could happen naturally?

In 2022 we decided to take a leap and make it happen. There was no proven model to follow and no certainty about what the response would be. What we did have was belief in the community we had spent years building. It quickly became clear that this was not just another event. It was a gathering that felt like it truly belonged to the community itself.

Finding our home

That first year proved the idea. We found our own site and built something truly ours from the ground up. Each year since we've evolved, staying true to one mission: give business leaders and entrepreneurs space to breathe, think, connect and grow. Ideas Fest has become a landmark event in the entrepreneurial calendar. It's even been called "the annual pilgrimage for entrepreneurs."

Backed by entrepreneurial spirit

From day one we've been lifted by entrepreneurs who believed in what we were building. They've shared advice, time and presence, helping shape Ideas Fest into something that genuinely reflects the community it serves. It's a rare thing: a festival built by business leaders and entrepreneurs, for business leaders and entrepreneurs. And it shows in every conversation, every connection, every shared moment.
